FMA Australia is a proud founding member of Global FM, the Global Facility Management Association.
Created in 2006, Global FM members serve all major FM markets in strategic parts of the world:
- Association des Directeurs et Respnsables de Services Généraux (ARSEG)
- Associação Brasileira de Facilities (ABRAFAC)
- International Facility Management Association (IFMA)
- British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM)
- South African Facilities Management Association (SAFMA)
- Hungarian Facility Management Society (HFMS)
- Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA Australia)
- Middle East Facilities Management Association (MEFMA)
- Facilities Management Association of New Zealand (FMANZ).
Global FM signed in 2010 an affiliation agreement with the European Facility Management Network (EuroFM).
One of Global FM’s main activities is to organise International Workshops held at different locations each year. These events take place alongside the annual conferences of Global FM Members.
After the success of the International Workshops in Brazil and USA in 2011 which attracted over 180 people, Global FM is very pleased with the opportunity of having an International Workshop in Australia during Ideaction, FMA Australia Annual Conference and Exhibition.
